NOD32 3.0 on XP - Take the Virus

I've been running NOD32 antivirus v2.7 for 8 months now and love it. Love version 2.7. Recommend it to everyone.

But last week MS Internet Explorer 7 crashed and blamed it on NOD32. The link to the publisher's website said that there was a free update to version 3.0 so I dutifully took it.

Major, painful mistake.

First; I had to uninstall version 2.7. That's no good -- especially because it turns out that uninstalling it took ALL of my crucial custom settings. Bummer.

But then, after I got version 3.0 installed, my whole Windows XP SP2 started going whacky. Slowing to a crawlMainly, it was some interaction with Outlook 2000 where all would be fine until

with it, all of my custom settings for NOD32. Anyone who has used NOD32 2.7 will tell you that you don't want to lose those settings. Before that it is fast and transparent when checking for malware, but a major pain in the productivity
